Spring 2019. Inspired by the Rana Tharus, a subset of the Tharu tribe, a spirited group found in the southern foothills of Nepal. This beautiful tribe fosters a giving community, building their entire livelihood with a strong willed disposition and their very own hands. The Tharu’s are resourceful and talented artists who peacefully resist through a powerful visual stance, adorning themselves in vibrant colours, textures and jewellery.
To celebrate and honour these inspiring people and their heritage, we worked with Nepali artisans on hand done jewellery and accessories, in an effort to highlight their craft on a global scale, a core part of our brand ethos. ? @joannatotolici
