The countries that I’ve been to & the places I’ve experienced are only as special as the people that I have had the chance to share them with. I would say that every worthwhile picture I have ever taken has been the by-product of a good relationship, or a friend who has shown me the way. Often I get asked how many countries I have been to and the answer is not many.. because I would rather go back to the same places over and over in order to foster those relationships and develop something deeper than just a few pretty photographs. I think that the key to creating a meaningful body of work is rooted in how much time you are willing to invest in a place without the camera. .
