Today, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is handing over the Patronage of @outwardbounduk (OBT).
Since 1953, The Duke of Edinburgh has helped over one million young people to participate in experiential outdoor learning programmes.
The Duke of Edinburgh has been instrumental in spreading the work of the OBT to over 30 countries worldwide for the past 65 years. The OBT believes that all young people, whatever their circumstances or background should have the chance to gain the personal skills they need to succeed.
