Las Vegas can be a lonely place for a solo adventure. But our 52 Places Traveler found some fun through the city's spirit of nostalgia. Every year, @nytimestravel releases a list of 52 places to go. This year, @sebmodak is going to all 52 destinations. In #LasVegas, he found the Strip a hard place to like. So along with exploring the city’s staple sights, he visited the Pinball Hall of Fame, with playable pinball machines dating back to the 1950s; Paradise Palms, a neighborhood that felt like a time warp; and the Laundry Room, a hidden speakeasy. “That’s not to say that everything old in Las Vegas is great and everything new is boring,” Sebastian writes. He was impressed by the rapidly expanding Arts District too.
