Prince Harry is greeted by students from St. Vincent’s Catholic Primary school ahead of taking part in a tree planting project in the schools grounds.
Launched in 2015, The @QueensCanopy initiative aims to create a network of national forest parks that span the 52 countries of the Commonwealth.
From The Duke and Duchess unveiling a canopy dedication in Canada (2) to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their visit to New Zealand last year (3) – there have been over 8.4 million hectares of forests in 43 countries have been dedicated to the @QueensCanopy, honoring Her Majesty’s service to the Commonwealth.
Her Majesty and Sir David Attenborough also discussed the @QueensCanopy in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace (4). The Tree The Duke of Sussex planted today will form part of a new 'Forest School' to help educate the students at St. Vincent's Catholic Primary about the vital importance trees have in our world.
