And so it goes.
Today we woke up to this note. 😿😿 (This person is referring to our successful campaign to inspire pet stores to only use Adoption Partners who don't condone and perform declawing.) We are sad that we are being attacked by people who are angry at us for trying to protect the health and well-being of cats and get them adopted into homes without having their toe bones and claws barbarically amputated.
These people can only see two options, death or declaw.
You just couldn’t make this horrible stuff up.
These people, who are condoning mutilating and harming cats by declawing them, are turning things around and inciting their followers to attack us for trying to save cats from this unnecessary animal cruelty. 😾

It is mind boggling that these people can’t grasp the simple concept that there’s always a humane path, which is to educate the public about the facts about declawing and about the easy, humane options and then there won’t be a demand for this cruelty and mutilation.

meeghanthevegan I just don't understand how difficult it is to trim a cats nails?! Sure, we have two that hates their paws being handled, but they go after the many scratching posts that we have. The other three are unhappy with their pawdicures, but get treats afterward and quickly forget that I gave them a quick trim. Declawing is so beyond inhumane and completely unnecessary. Also, my vet will put on the nail covers for a nominal cost if we ever need, or do a quick trim. I can't imagine shelters being ok with declawing a cat! That's awful!

renatajean79 Honestly, if the alternative for some of these small minded fools is to throw at outside to live lives of misery on the streets...yes, humane euthanasia IS a better option! Rather than take the time to train catsnot to claw the furniture, they throw them outside to fend for themselves. Abandon them against cars, disease, dogs, poisoning, shooting...yes, I'd rather cats be put down than decimate native wildlife & spread parasites & disease because irresponsible humans can't take proper care of them.
