'Jervis Bay is 200km south of #Sydney and is known to have some of the whitest sand in the world (see exhibit A above). From 1843, Jervis Bay was a stopover for a monthly steamboat that transported goods between Shoalhaven and Sydney, and the bay was flagged for an international port development. Thankfully the railway arrived and goods were transported by land instead, so this pristine environment was retained.
