It's past their bedtimes. But they've waited a long time for this meal.

These young refugees and their mother are part of the latest influx of South Sudanese into Democratic Republic of the Congo. They arrived last night to a transit center in Aru in the Ituri Province. It's one of the poorest regions in one of the poorest countries in the world.

We spoke with many of the refugees who were exhausted from their journey -- some had been traveling for months in search of safety. Yesterday evening, they found it.
