It’s unmistakably a lion in this picture. I’m often perplexed how an animal, we humans have revered for thousands of years, still faces the real threat of future extinction. Like with many other animals facing the same demise, we know the solutions but yet fail, time and time again to act on them. And an even more perplexing human trait is that we only like to act when it’s a crisis or simply too late. There are people and organisations at the coal face doing good work to help curb this however it will take money and lots of it. #homosapiens #homodestroyers

One of the quotes that @lionwhisperersa had said in a documentary that I watched was “us as human beings are so good at just consuming, but we’re not good at giving back!’ It is sad that so many of these magnificent animals are being hunted and killed. If it continues, the only place people will get to see them are in zoo’s. I have so much love and respect for what you do for them.
