It can take Ping-Pong prodigy Nick Rudd (@thepingpongkid) up to 100 tries — or occasionally, just a single serve 😲 — to make a new trick shot like blowing out a lit candle from across the table or bouncing a ball right into a cup without looking. 💯 🏓 “Sometimes, I get them on the first try which is exciting,” says the 15-year-old competitive table tennis player from Port Macquarie, Australia. “But after a long time in a hot room, it’s the best feeling to finally get the trick shot.”
Nick started posting his Ping-Pong skills on Instagram in August 2017. In time, he’s learned that patience and dedication play an important part. “It’s very easy to get frustrated, doing the same thing over and over again, but I find I just have to focus on getting the trick and keep trying,” says Nick.
