This apartment allowed me and my family to spend time with my daughter. Three years ago she was born in NY making me a long distance dad. I got the apartment right after she was born and it gave us a safe place to grow, be together and connect. It served as home-base for me and my family. I’m so grateful for that. I’m fortunate to have a job that has given me the time and financial resources to somewhat bridge the 3000 mile gap between us. I’m very aware that many/most non-custodial parents in similar situations do not have the resources I do. Getting a second apartment and making almost monthly trips is not an option for them. I am so grateful and thankful I have been able to. And this is straight up because of Superstore. Without this show, those memories and the time I’ve had would not have been possible. Which is why I’m also thankful to the fans of the show and why I’m posting this here. You made this possible. In a very real way because of you, my wife my mother and I have a wonderful and strong bond with my daughter. Thank you. I moved out today, my daughter is spending more time in LA now.
