Here’s some good news for veggie lovers — Whole Foods is slashing prices starting Wednesday, with a focus on reducing the price of produce.
Greens, tomatoes, tropical fruits and more will cost an average of 20% less at Whole Foods. Shoppers who are Amazon Prime members will see double the number of exclusive deals.
Amazon bought the grocer in July 2017, and wanted to convert its Prime members into Whole Foods shoppers with exclusive deals and grocery delivery. The last big Whole Foods price cut was in November 2017.
