持続的な森林保全のために国内の間伐材を含む国産材を原材料とした「木材ストロー」。 環境ジャーナリストの竹田 有里氏が、平成30年7月豪雨の被災地を取材した際に発案した本ストローは、株式会社アキュラホームとザ･キャピトルホテル 東急が賛同し開発、製品化に至りました。

4月よりホテル内全てのレストラン＆バーのプラスチック製ストローの使用を廃止し、基本的にはストローの提供を行わず、希望されたお客さまにのみ「木材ストロー」またはトウモロコシを原料としたストローをお選びいただき提供いたしております。ご希望の際はお気軽にお声掛けください。

Wooden straws made of domestic timber from forest thinning, are for the sustainable forest conservation.
This straw is developed by AQURAHOME CO.,LTD together with The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, idea originated with environmental journalist Yuri Takeda.
From April, we have discontinued the use of plastic straw, and only upon request, we provide either this wooden straw or straw made from corn. Please feel free to ask us if you would like those straw.
