Photo by @Gerd Ludwig | Spring’s “super bloom” in southern California, caused by higher-than-normal rainfall in late winter, has caused an explosion of wildflowers in many areas, like this one in Antelope Valley. The blooms (which include California poppies, Desert Dandelion, Sand Verbena, Evening Primrose and others) have covered some areas in more flowers than reportedly seen in the past hundred years.
