“A Nightmare Wakes“ is picture-locked & coming soon. So happy to finally share with you all, a taste of this world we lost ourselves in, this last fall... (swipe to see some 📸) I feel lucky, privileged and honored to have been part of this very special project, which asked all of us involved to give ourselves over and disappear into another era, with gusto. And the film that came of it is “A Nightmare Wakes.” I play a British poet in the 1800s, Percy Shelley, and we depict the very complicated & controversial love between Mary Shelley and Percy. (portrayed and lead by the immensely talented @alixwiltonregan ) And there’s some historical icons involved too: the innocent Claire Clairmont (@clairemglassford ), charismatic Lord Byron (@philippebowgen ) & John Polidori (@lee_garrett_ ). And, I was fortunate enough to be directed by a woman of whom this story is the last decade of her life’s work. @noraunkel I thank you for trusting me. @spittingimg @robmenzies @madamtyrannosaur thank you for making this possible. @orensofferdp for making it beautiful, & @mickaylapence for making us beautiful.
