The push from interim camp up the #miracleHighway to advanced base camp (21,000ft) landing us at the foot of my Everest. The hike takes you up the east rongbok on the medial moraine placing you dead center in between jagged penitente ice sculptures on your left and right. Without this upheaval, this would be a treacherous path navigating between the unstable sculptures, it’s why it’s called the miracle highway.
