Chinatown-based bag brand @KARA has successfully filled the void for polished, pared-back, and practical designs for the purse-averse. But five years in to the brand, founder Sarah Law sought to streamline the Kara look even further. “When I go out, I don’t always want to carry a bag, even though I design bags!” Law says of the impetus behind the label’s latest launch: a hands-free collection, modeled by Marz Lovejoy (@marzyjane), that blurs the line between clothing and carry-alls.
