It was so beautiful, I saw all the faces of these beautiful humans that I just got to spend a week with. Each person had such a unique experience. Traumas you’d never wish on anyone, recovery that was unimaginable and strength that was unheard of. In this meditation the word SOFTNESS came up and that’s what hit me. Everyone was so gentle, everyone I got to spend a week with wants to make human connection stronger. Everyone in that room felt pain and is dealing with it. Everyone in that room LOVED each other with out judgment, and that’s hard to do. Everyone in that room made me feel Special and showed me how beautiful my flaws are that I struggle with. I will thank these people for the rest of my life. They taught me a new way of seeing people and how much patience love takes. I’d like to share what I heard from @sarahfinds that made my evening magical. “Our warring self VS our infinite self” feeling your softness is the only thing that will set you free, the only thing that will feed your life in the ways it is asking. Resist the reflex of protection. Your heart needs you to not be afraid any longer. It will heal your anger, your wars. It will save your world, your life. All war large or small fought in the quiet of your mind, in the words you say to another, in the language you speak with your body, in the way you treat even just the smallest of discomfort, is still war. Fight long and hard enough against your life, your circumstance, the people in your life and you will begin to see the war first starts within you and spreads up like a tsunami of hate and drowns any chance for well-being, harmony, or grace. Don’t you see how tremendously powerful you are? See how much love you can create for yourself? How much suffering you can obliterate? How you can quench the dry cracked earth around you by breathing the soft one within you awake? The world around you and within you needs you to be her, to stand in her unbeatable force.
