The only two fraternities at Swarthmore College in suburban #Philadelphia have disbanded amid outrage over the release of internal Phi Psi documents which, according to two campus publications, were anonymously leaked and included derogatory comments about women, minorities and the LGBT community; jokes about sexual assault; and reference to a "rape attic," @apnews reports. Dozens of student protesters at the private liberal arts #college occupied the on-campus Phi Psi house during a four-day sit-in—seen here on April 30—and called for the fraternities to be shuttered. @swarthmorecollege President Valerie Smith said there was no evidence any current student took part in the behavior described in the documents, which were reportedly from 2012 to 2016.
