開花予想よりはるかに早い3月上旬。

都内のとある土手で撮影する予定が、
そこに奇跡的に満開の桜が！

今回の演目"荒川の佐吉"
クライマックスシーンは桜が咲く土手。

チーム右近さん、恐るべし。

The latest issue of éclat magazine has been released!! I wrote about "Arakawa no Sakichi for the "Kabuki Is Modern" column this month.

It's a sorrowful story about a relationship between Sakichi and his son-in-law.

I was performing "Sakichi", who used be a thug, trying to be back away from his son-in-law.
I tried to express his sadness and coolness while looking at the cherry blossoms falling.

I hope that you will become more interested to come see Kabuki in the theater after reading my column.
