「日本橋」の歴史をご存知ですか？1603年（慶長8年）、徳川家康の指令により、木製の日本橋が建設されました。1604年（慶長9年）、日本の五街道の起点に定められ、運河のネットワークが発達し、商人たちが商店や魚市場を開きました。その後、1911年（明治44年）に19回目の再建を機に、日本橋が石造りの橋になりました。ゴールデンウィーク後半の週末、日本橋で歴史散策はいかがでしょうか？

Do you know the history of Nihonbashi Bridge? Nihonbashi Bridge was constructed in wood as ordered by Shogun Tokugawa in 1603. The bridge was declared the starting point of five key routes across Japan in 1604. Canal networks grew, merchants set up shop and a fish market opened. In 1911, Nihonbashi Bridge was built for the 19th time – and on this occasion, it’s made of stone. How about visiting the historical bridge on the weekend?
