“We’re going to get our friend back,” said high schooler Daphne Anselmo, who joined more than 100 students on Monday in a walkout to protest the arrest of an undocumented classmate. Just weeks before his graduation, Thomas Torres-Maytorena was turned over to federal authorities following a routine traffic stop on Thursday night, according to the sheriff’s department.
