The rest are just details, the practical responsibilities of the day to day, some of which we cannot avoid, and some of which can be overwhelming too much of the time. I think both the challenge and the treasure is to somehow not lose sight of what was once deemed a miracle to be washed out in the noise of those other details, the ones we’re not likely to remember when we move on from our time here. With each passing year, my idea of adventure, dreams and priority changes, or perhaps not so much changes but simplifies to the core of it all, which for me is this: love your love and loved ones with all that you’ve got, invest your time into building up and pouring into their hearts, and enjoy the time that you’re gifted because each one of those moments and they themselves were once our dandelion wishes, and that in itself is worthy of our best, not to be taken for granted, nor our wonder with the miracle of it all wane. . . . .
