Princess Alexandra visited @rnli Shoreham yesterday, where Her Royal Highness met crewmembers and toured the station’s facilities.
Shoreham Harbour has had a lifeboat station for 154 years and, in 2011, Princess Alexandra and The Duke of Kent, President of the RNLI, officially opened @shorehamlifeboat’s new boathouse after it was rebuilt. The boathouse is home to a Tamar class all weather lifeboat, named ‘Enid Collett’.
