🐣 🇬🇺 Our #GuamKingfisher chick is growing with each gulp! When keepers hand-feed the chick, they place food in the back of his throat, just like his parents would do, to help him swallow the food. They then watch to make sure he gets every bit down before offering him more. He eats four times a day. Keepers are hand-raising the chick because his parents did not incubate his egg, so they rescued it and placed it in an incubator. #WeSaveSpecies
