And here’s a fantastic part...it’s free! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With a generous grant from the U.S. Embassy Yerevan, we return to bridging understanding, our similarities, by empowering young photographers - ten from Turkey, ten from Armenia - to tell your own stories. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This August, the incredible Anush Babajanyan @anushbabajanyan, the co-founder of #BridgingStories and member of the prestigious @viiphoto agency, will again be co-teaching with me a workshop with YOU, 20 amazing people in Dilijan, Armenia. And this year of #BridgingStories 2 we have the most beautiful photographer joining us, Sabiha Çimen @sabakhayr! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Spread the word all across Armenia and Turkey, then register with Storytellers Cafe NGO at the link in my Instagram bio. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While in Dilijan, Anush, Sabiha and I will teach those selected the art and power of telling stories. After our workshop together, you return to your cities and villages, telling narratives of life around you. Throughout this time we collaborate with you remotely as you publish directly to the @Bridging.Stories feed. This immersive six-month program expands your life as a photographer, a storyteller, as a human being. Your work and commitment will culminate with an exhibition at galleries in both Istanbul and Yerevan in 2020, reaching even more people directly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Our previous group of photographers lives and careers expanded so much during #BridgingStories I, they are alumni of peacemakers still working today on @Bridging.Stories.
