All will be revealed next month... ・・・ #Repost @mesmerizing_malarkey ・・・ Today marks one year since Captain Solitaire, the EP, came out; one year since its 3 songs became part of our Malarkey Madness journey. I remember I was packing to go to Amsterdam (1st stop of the 3rd leg of Mongrels Tour) when the EP came out. It was late at night and I stopped everything I was doing, put my headphones on, closed my eyes, and let it all sink in. I had been waiting to listen to a recorded version of Friends for years, I was so averwhelmed with feelings while listening to the new version, realizing how, the evolution the song had had over the years, kinda represented Michael's music's journey and mine with it. Bloody Nose was so captivating, so different from what Michael had gotten us used to, yet so perfectly fitting and mystical. Captain Solitaire, the single, had come out a couple of days before and I already loved it, but, listening to it as part of this 3 songs journey, gave it a whole new vibe I loved it even more. This EP has always been presented like the bridge connecting Mongrels and the next Full Length. I can't wait to listen to Michael's next album, in order to connect the dots💙 📷: @janetphotography .
