I nervously but passionately share my story in the hopes to help you on your mental health journey. Maybe you have a diagnosis or support someone who does. I get a physical, go to the dentist, get checkups with my gynecologist, and yes, see a psychotherapist regularly. Our mind is a part of our body. It needs regular checkups as well. And it’s ok if we struggle. Find someone you feel safe talking to and advocate for what you feel might help.
