This hulking monument is far out of Tbilisi and almost unknown to locals and tourists alike. I can’t remember how it first floated into my consciousness, but once it had, I needed to see it for myself. Note the distinct lack of humans. Did I mention this was massive? Overlooking the Tbilisi Sea, you’d think this was built long ago, yet construction began in 1985. If you’re in Tbilisi, Georgia you can get a taxi to the outskirts of town to see it. We decided to be daredevils and rent a car. 😈 After my tour guests left me *wipes tears* I’ve been doing some scouting around the region to see what else I might add or change with the next tour.
