After being on the road with @lizzobeeating, I discovered that she was a huge Sailor Moon fan! She was playing a festival in New Orleans right before Halloween and originally I was going to make her the sailor moon look as a gift. BUT my 'Kristen Wiig surprise lady' being ass, could not keep it a secret. Haha! So, I mentioned it to her and she was in 100%. Not only that but she wanted everyone to be sailors! So, while in the airport I had my friend back home, Micahel Brambila, run out and buy the fabric, prep and cut the pattern, and when I got back was on the machine for 24 hours. We had a fitting in the hotel the day we landed in New Orleans, and I stayed up all night altering the looks by hand.
