Monday was my first back squat workout since about 3 weeks before Pan Ams. Today was the second. They have been the slowest to come back movement wise, as I just haven’t been able to get into the positions (I have been front squatting, as those came back much quicker). We’re on 8’s this week & todays workout ended 20kg higher than the last. It felt like shit (as any squat workout after ~2 months away from back squatting would), still kind of uncomfortable and tentative, but it’s progress. And what I’m most pumped about is I can finally PUSH myself without fear of pain. THAT feels fucking good. 135kg/297lbs x 8 (Last set if I think 6x8???) second back squat workout back in over 2 months.
