In a statement Delta’s CEO, Ed Bastian, said: “The direct relationship we have with our employees is at the very core of our strong culture and it has enabled continuous investments in Delta people. Our employees have the best total compensation in the industry, including the most lucrative profit sharing program in the world. The IAM’s interference claims are completely baseless.” But Delta workers seeking to unionize tell a different story. “If you’re a union activist like I am, I’ve been spoken to by management, told not to wear the IAM pin which is in compliance with Delta’s uniform guidelines. I’ve been told that being a supporter of the union will be detrimental to my long-term career at Delta. I’ve been threatened with termination for my union activities. It is an oppressive, fear-driven culture,” said John Bryant, who has worked as a Delta ramp agent in Houston, Texas, for a year.

Homophobic staff. Booked flights 2 months ago and seats were changed apart from eachother. Upon calling was told it was no problem to adjust my seats with my partner. When the attendant asked for my HUSBANDS name.. she was surprised and appalled when I told her my partner was in fact a WOMAN. Upon realizing this her customer service dropped to practically nothing and she told us there was nothing that could be done and to just come early and figure it out. Now I’m spending my last day on our vacation in an airport trying to sort out something that should have never been an issue to begin with. Happy pride month delta ?

@thecoolerangelicaa it was! The phone call to @delta was just about as bad after as they don’t monitor them (which is exactly what I was told) so they can speak to customers however they want because it’s not recorded. I told the customer service rep I wouldn’t fly @delta again and she said that’s fine you don’t cleave to fly ever again for all I care. Not sure where they find these people or how they train them but clearly customers aren’t a concern and more of a bother to them!

@delta that’s great! Too bad you charged my whole group extra for a flight on May 31st, and had an emergency landing that delayed us and missed first day of vacation while waiting around for another flight. Oh, yeah! And then on the second plane, something leaked on us from the emergency door the whole flight and nothing was done about it! Won’t even refund anything. Horrible company and customer service. NEVER flying DELTA again.

My recent flight on Delta Air Lines was complete carelessness and chaos. My mobile boarding pass, upon countless attempts, simply did not work at security. I was rescheduled onto a later flight, on which my connecting flight was delayed later and later. I missed two entire work days due to this. I will never fly on this airline again.

NEVER FLY DELTA. They lose your bags and never return them. When you call baggage claim you’re on hold for a minimum of 30minutes before you get to speak with anyone. Pathetic customer service.
