Money is nice...trust me, it allows you to do more with what brings your heart #joy. But it is NOT the main path to bringing you that joy. Think of it as a slightly nicer car with a smoother ride and a good sound system. It’s enjoyable to ride in, but any other decent working car will get you to your destination, too. Ever feel like the journey has somewhat remained the same as you’ve been here before but just in a different skin suit? Excited for the day Science can prove the theory of past lives! I like your quote and I’m just asking - wouldn’t it be just as powerful if not more so if you removed the word your before life? Opening up a wider scope of where it is joy can be derived from? As in from all of it! Because I can also derive joy from your life or anyone else’s can’t I? Not a criticism as much as it is a pondering? iamchepilo “Man is that he might have joy.” Pearl of Great Price (PGP). Along with the Bible, the PGP is one of the sets of scripture adhered to by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It did not suggest that man would have joy all the time or even that earth life was created to be the only joyful experience. To Father ‘life’ encompasses all forms of it. I let go of seeking joy as a result of seeking my passion. I feel better regardless of the outcome of that choice. I may even die from my passionate activity.

guadalupeaguirrre I agree with you in principle, but what about when you need money for a project that will bring you a lot of joy? You feel miserable for not having money and miserable for not being able to carry out the project...
