Now that school is out, quick trips to the Redwood Forest is easy before Daddy goes to work! So much to learn from these great majesties. Good foods are essential to learning, so we make sure to pack snacks like @BrainiacKids yogurt, which have as much omega-3 DHA as a kid's serving of salmon and more protein and less sugar than other kid's yogurt brands. To help celebrate all those adventurous dads this Father's Day, I've partnered with @BrainiacKids to help fuel your next outing! It's easy, just follow @BrainiacKids on Instagram and comment on your favorite brain-building activity on this post for a chance to win a Brainiac Kid's Pack that includes yogurts, a backpack cooler and a $150 voucher to a family-friendly activity of your choice! #sponsored #brainfoodforkids #giveaway

We do a lot of nature classes offered by our regional park system. Last week, my 4 and 2 year old kids learned about ice cream science and how water temperature changes when you add salt. Plus, they got to eat ice cream they churned, which was a huge plus for them. ? Then on some weeks, it’s playing/learning in the creek, learning about damselflies, how gardens grow, or geology, etc.

My daughter’s favorite brain building activities are: the PARK(!), Story Time at the library, the art room at the train museum, and dress up. (She’s 2 ?) MY favorite brain building activity: household “chores” that she likes helping with, cooking, and all of the above! Thanks for all you do and talking about! ✨✨✨

With a 2 and 4 year out activities are simple and I love it—counting stairs as we climb them, slow nature walks in our neighborhood, Experimenting with paint and play dough!
