On the ADR stage at @ugosound with @harleyquinnsmith to loop a few lines for @jayandsilentbob Reboot. Harley’s session is the final stop on the audio post production line before we start the sound mix. We’re almost done, Kids! And I can’t wait to show you how badly I fucked up as a filmmaker *this* time! I’m deeply in love with the story we told: it’s all heart - which is only fitting since I had to survive a heart attack to make it! But if my heart decides to attack me again and I lose this time, I’d be absolutely okay with #jayandsilentbobreboot being the movie that sums up not only my dopey career, but my even dopier life. It’s my thesis film for the film school of life I’ve been attending for 25 years now. Sick can’t wait,jay and silent bob strike back was recommended to me from a skater and being a huge clerks n mallrats fan I was in stitches laughing especially when I grabbed it on DVD n those deleted scenes were pure gold .thanks for your work and huge congrats on the health front iv made huge changes n literally it’s been hard but super rewarding with health improvements and weight loss to having first child and re-evaluate how long id like to remain on this dirt orb.been watching your YouTube for a while now and damn you did the work kinda inspired me a bit to keep positive about a lotta things .really though can’t wait for the reboot I love those two hustlers you’ve invented I grew up with a few characters like that and it makes me smile ear to ear.??

Clerks is still in my top 5 films ever made. Not only is it a spot-on representation of working a customer service job, but it perfectly encapsulates the relationships between minimum wage employees. The work may suck, but the convo is great. To this day, 50% of the friends I keep contact with are those I worked with at minimum wage... as a clerk.

Growing up with films and music in stereo has me spoiled and a little neurotic: my insides keep screaming, "Where's the other monitor?!" I don't know... maybe that's just how things are done...(?)
