There were moments photographing this landscape when I felt I had travelled to a distant planet. Two shield volcanoes, overlain by lava flows and cinder cones, give away Isla Guadalupe’s fiery origin story. Situated 150 miles off the coast of Pacific Mexico, the island was formed on a now extinct mid-ocean ridge. I was here to photograph great whites, but these iconic landscapes captivated me as much as the sharks. @maresmexicanos #mexico #islaguadalupe #volcano #pacificocean #whitesharks #greatwhitesharks

My plan (for my 50th) is to go to that same place for the same purpose- great whites. Can’t wait to see your photos!
