It follows a flaring, slightly overhung crack on a shear granite face. The feet are minimal smears that felt slippery and any given moment, I’d be using all my might to compress against the dihedral, then my foot would blow and I’d be whipping down the dihedral. - I was pretty intimidated by this insecure feeling like I was going to fall off at any point. - To prepare for this climb I had to stretch more (probably something I should do more anyways) because it required me to do the splits to reach between the minimal feet and be able to enter a stem position. - Thank you @molly.mitchell for encouraging me to get out today! I was going to take a rest day but it’s hard to turn down a motivated partner! ... Caveat being that I was too lazy to set my alarm too early so I wrestled some slimy sun-baked granite...but I got my extra Z’s, which for me is most important to trying hard.
