Washington Square Arch will be lit by rainbow lights in honor of Pride celebrations this weekend. Back in 1978, Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in California, asked artist Gilbert Baker to design a symbol for the LGBTQ+ community, and the rainbow flag was born. 🏳️🌈 The Washington Square Arch lights were designed by @jasonsherwooddesign, @tovarbri, and @livesight.

@dustinwaine I’m gay and I have all of those things you just demanded. But I do t need to wave flags and demand people look at me because of where I put my genitals. I have pride in my successes in life, not where I put my genitalia.

@stella_dallas98 so all the straight lefties can virtue signal and pander to the people they see (subconsciously) as beneath them. It’s a mental disease rampant with the over-privileged left with too much time on their hands.

@mrdanielbillingsley you insult truckers, homeschooling parents, and every interior designer by stating their reference for where they put their genitals has a direct correlation to their quality as a designer. ?

@natnosleep it’s mostly about non-gays pandering to those beneath them for the purposes of virtue signaling. I’m gay and the only thing a rainbow means to me is the reminder of the covenant God made to Noah.

Unfollow ..there's nothing to be proud of being not straight .. how come you are proud of your basic animal desires ..proud of being hungry ..of need to sleep ..proud of need to *** and *** ?

never understood the need for extravagant expression/over-celebration for such minor concepts that literally have no place to be blown tf up for
