These photos show a tiger shark mowing the lawn that covers the sand at Tiger Beach. It’s wild to see a lawn out in the middle of the ocean as Tiger Beach has no actual beach at all. From depths of 5000 feet a sand bar rises up from the deep. It has become an amazing place for scientist and shark enthusiasts to dive with 5+ species of sharks, that is if you have the coordinates to find it! Since there is no land and it’s in the middle of the ocean, very few people know how to get there which means there’s never more than a couple boats at the location. TIGERthursday
