🚨URGENT🚨: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services announced that they have extended the public comment period for wolves. This is because of you!
.
This is great news — and a chance for us to keep the pressure on. The new comment deadline has been moved to July 15!!
.
Wolf supporters have already submitted over 1 million comments opposing the administration’s disastrous plan, thanks to all of you for your amazing work — but we’re not done yet.
.
We still need more comments to come in and we STILL need your support. If you already commented asking to keep wolves on the endangered species list, please let your friends know how you have made a difference and how they can do it too!
.
Let’s show the Department of Interior that Americans want their wolves protected!

I had a cross of wolf and Siberian husky as my first dog. I did alot of research into wolves to help train my beautiful boy. There are alot of misconceptions about wolves and I wish people would look past the sensational to see what a big part of the food chain they are. With them there is healthier prey and fauna without is just unthinkable. Canada is not perfect but to see the killing of those wolves given to the USA is ... I have no words. Please help these wonderful creatures.

Hmm.. @sethgreen lots of wolves are on endangered lists and protected, the ones that rotate off, are doing so to manage their pack sizes. Up in MT and ID I've seen first hand how disastrous wolves are when they aren't hunted and their numbers are too overwhelming to big game herds, livestock, or even people. It IS protecting them, to keep their numbers managed, and wildlife conservation should include the radically hit deer and elk populations due to over running wolf populations.

@tylerklek agree! Talk to a rancher and see how the wolves are attacking cattle not for food but just to kill. Cow's are not pray for wolves. Plus, here in Idaho where they reintroduced the wolves. Deer, Elk, and moose populations are down and wolf populations are up. There are no coyotes anymore and the wolves are actually coming into town. So, no they should not be put on endanger species list. Soend some time in the actual wilderness on Idaho and see for your self.

But they’re not close to extinction... if it wasn’t for governments paying hunters to do wolf culls there’d be countless other animal species already extinct. But clueless Hollywood liberals don’t care about facts and reality. They think wolves are dogs when they’re literally killing machines that kill even when they’re not hungry?♂️

@tylerklek there is a difference between maintaining a population, and unrestricted hunting to extinction. But since you are throwing ignorance and insults into the mix, clearly thinking isn't your strong point.

@sethgreen , please do some research before posting things like this. Reach out to @stevenrinella , @olcal406 or @cameronrhanes for actual knowledge on the INCREASING wolf population
