davidlarsen940 Imagine if employers had to pay for all employee costs such as housing, food, shelter etc such as the military. It would cost a lot more than $15 an hour. Minimum wage was the best thing ever invented for employers to compete and of course they want to keep it close to $0.

ryukd Plus inflation specially in rentals that will increase for everyone even for those who won’t recover a salary increase rise the wages it’s not a solution specially for a fix number in all states whit out including the different reality in different states

tmoquatro I am all for a minimum wage hike. Long overdue. But $15 is too high. $10 - $12 would be fair. And let's be real about Congress, the Senate does not take up ANYTHING because Mitch McConnell is the worst political swamp monster of our lifetime.

werkcs Those 1.3 million currently cant afford a minimum life here in usa with that pay so......they arent losing anything. Prolly gain more than they might lose. Even maybe find a job that pays minimum wage
