An appeals court upheld a judge’s ruling that President Trump violates the Constitution when he blocks critics on Twitter. Because Trump uses Twitter for official communications with the public, it is unconstitutional to exclude someone on the basis of that person disagreeing with him, the judges said. Tuesday’s ruling upheld a lower court’s ruling last year. “No government official — including the President — is above the law, and all government officials are presumed to follow the law as has been declared,” Judge Naomi Buchwald wrote in the earlier ruling.

xo.jyt God damn it’s not that complicated. If you are a government official and use your social media to present to the world, your account is no longer private but instead a means of the press. It is inherently unconstitutional to block people from seeing what you write as an official. It’s not his private account once he gets verified and his username is “realdonaldtrump”. If you want a place to say your shit make a real private account.
