American Airlines apologized to a Texas doctor who said she was humiliated after being told she couldn’t fly unless she covered up her romper with a blanket. Latisha “Tisha” Rowe said she and her son were boarding a flight from Jamaica to Miami on June 30 when an airline employee asked them to step off the plane to talk. Rowe shared a photo of the outfit she was wearing and said black women face a double standard. "I've seen white women with much shorter shorts board a plane without a blink of an eye,” she tweeted. beachbunbun77 I'm not thrilled with American Airlines but it's a private company, and sadly they have the right to dictate who wears what on their plane. I wouldn't fly American Airlines to save my life...also, if they felt her outfit was too skimpy to wear on the plane, they should've asked her to put on longer pants/shorts. Having someone sit on a plane with the crack of their hiney touching the seat is unsanitary.

But if you Are flying standby do to employment or your family members employment you are subject to some clothing standards.... Now I don't know the story yet.... But regardless...
