I dropped this last June 2018 made it after I was ghosted TWICE by the person I later dated. Lol 1st time shame on u , 2nd time shame on me.l? ... I sure hope not ./: WE ALL been thru IT, one way or another. Everyone who knew my situation at the time told me that I should do a parody of the track bc it reminded them of me n the BS I been thru. The fun part about doing this parody, for me , was just laughing things off, being silly , having fun & MOST IMPORTANTLY getting it out of my system. The hurt , the pain, even the anger. I had fun making this mix & video ✨ PS I’m not a rapper. I don’t pretend to be. I’m an artist that doesn’t pigeon hold myself in one box. I love all music. I’m sensitive just as I’m passionate about what I do. Thanks A Records for green lighting this & to the NYC DJs who played this on radio last summer. @iamcardib

missassunshine Girl, if @iamcardib had been around when I was in my domestic abuse relationship I think she would have helped me leave sooner. 3 months of being locked in his home, he had 4 locks and covered the window with his heavy gym equipment so I couldn’t move or run away (jumped out the window once to escape) let’s just say he has a lovely scar on his private area after he was relentlessly banging my head against the ground in one of his anger episodes. I got fucked up more for it, but was one of the first times I fought back and successfully was like okay, I gotta get out of here

philken Sometimes we need a platform to vent and heal while having fun doing it. It’s evident that you did that. I’m not a follower but I stumbled across this and I’m reminded that we need a channel to release negative energy inside of us. At the same time keep moving and trust that God can be a refuge for us in times of distress.(Psalm 46:1) So keep moving, keep conquering and keep growing??
