Today I’m focusing on paper-free as well as #PlasticFree. Went to the library to get a new book to get excited about our next big trip!! Libraries are awesomeness because they mean everyone has access to great books and fun neighborhood activities for free!! It’s especially great for the kids and reduces the amount of trees destroyed and shipping carbon footprint. I like my ebook but I really love the feel of a book in my hand. I love my home library but I’m thinking more about donating to the library 📚and borrowing what they have. It’s like a blockbuster for books! 📺

Yes! Love that you're promoting libraries, the fact they need promoting saddens me greatly, some of my best times as a kid were in the local library. As an English teacher, I tend to use the school library (I teach 11-16 year olds) and it's great to be able to start a discussion with a kid about a book that is in our library and that they can share in the joy (or disappointment) of a good book. It's so nice to see other people promoting reading. So, thank you!

In my town there is a book bazaar two times in the year. You get all kind of books for a cheap price and the whole amount goes to charity. When you finished reading the books or if you have some you don't want anymore you can bring them to this place and someone else can buy it. I love this. There are also very old books and you can find funny things in it. Last time I found a train ticket to East Berlin in one of these books.

I love libraries. I haven’t bought a book in ages.
I only bought books for the kids when they were little, but once they‘ve reached school age, we would only go to the library. Ours also has dvds, cds and games for Nintendo and co.
Over here, they also have little libraries in their primary school and the teacher takes the whole class there, once a week.

I try and find the book I want to read in the library. But sometimes it’s not possible, for example American books which aren’t available here (I recently read Corey Feldman’s memoir but they didn’t have it at the library so I had to buy it) but soon as I’m done reading the paid for books I give to charity ??

I spent my childhood in a library. And even now I will use one more than buying but I did found out that new releases are very difficult to get in a library because of funding. They built a multimillion pound library in birmingham and yet the council wont pay for new books so now I think it relies on public.

I love libraries! Mine has all kinds of cool stuff there. They have tons of books, DVDs to borrow, magazines, board games and they put on classes like learning how to knit, how to play chess, travel writing, ESL classes, etc. It is awesome!
