An enormous jellyfish was spotted by a diver off the coast of England. “What an unforgettable experience,” said the diver, biologist and broadcaster Lizzy Daly, who described the encounter as “breathtaking” and said the jellyfish as big as she was. Barrel jellyfish are the largest species of jellyfish in the British seas and typically grow up to 3.2 feet long and weigh up to 55 pounds.
