jaskirren the worst airline ... dont travel with Lufthansa. I put in a complaint to them in April about them booking me twice for re rebooking some flights to a later date. They did this wrong 3 times and each time I had to call to sort out their incompetence ( all abroad I may add ) on one occasion they kept me on hold for over 2 hours. In total Lufthansa needed to refund me £629 , they also damaged my baggage significantly. For some time Lufthansa just ignored my emails , you cant call them about complaints you see ( ridiculous) then after me repeatedly sending various emails on different forms on social media I got a reply. Since April Lufthansa have been making one request or another through email to delay giving me my money back. They said they would give me 400 Euros towards my damaged baggage and refund my money once they receive my bank statement ( which I've sent 3 times to them showing the double charges ) , then a week later il get a email saying , we wont be refunding you and dont know what your talking about. Does this company not communicate or read emails they've sent to customers before replying to one because each time I receive a email from Lufthansa it's a different person and each person has no clue what my complaint is about and they say something different each time. Nothing left for me now but to speak to my solicitors about this and go down the legal route. Shame on you Lufthansa .... shame.

tjayelle Don’t fly @lufthansa. Completely incompetent airline. Yesterday a bunch of their connecting flights were late and they closed the gates for the next (connecting) flight early (25 min early) resulting in about 20+ people from different destinations needing to be rebooked for the next day. We all got stuck in Frankfurt for the evening. Now we are trying to get back home via a flight to London and AGAIN Lufthansa is delayed. Have never experienced such poor service and incompetence in an airline.
