You can’t change a corrupt system by taking its money. If we are going to break the stranglehold of corporate interests over the health care needs of the American people, we have got to confront a Washington culture that has let this go on for far too long. That is why I am calling on every Democratic candidate in this election to join us in rejecting money from the insurance and drug industries. Candidates who are not willing to take that pledge should explain to the American people why those interests believe their campaigns are a good investment. #NoHealthIndustryMoney

Dude, you sound like you need to start hanging out with better people. I know single moms in their 20s who have picked themselves up off of welfare, bought houses, putting themselves through school and become RNs. That’s not exclusive either. That’s common.
If you aren’t seeing that right in front of you, I don’t know what to say. Maybe get some better friends because it sounds like you have this insight into the gutter.

All politicians should be required by law to post all campaign contributors on the back drop of the podium when they make public appearances. If politicians want to behave like sports organizations claiming that their team is better than the other team they should post their sponsors proudly.

Stricter term limits reduces the possibility of government officials getting rich off a civil servant position. No more lobbyist takes money out of government. Electoral college is do not represent the true votes and they need to go as well. This is where I would start if I was president.

Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats as well as Chuck Schumer and others. I’ve taken millions from the healthcare industry. Follow the money look at their records. You wonder why we don’t have Medicare for all. Look directly at the Democrats. They’re just as bad as the GOP.

On paper I make $14 an hour in Oregon. I bring home $11.20 an hour because of taxes (That's 25%). As a college student working two jobs to make ends meet, how much more will I be losing to taxes after this proposition?

@berniesanders it would be helpful to have a list of corporate $ you do take for perspective. Like, what % comes from small business, etc thank you
