Happy birthday to #MarcelDuchamp, who was born #onthisday in 1887. An artist who broke down the boundaries between works of art and everyday objects, he is perhaps best known for his irreverant “ready-mades.” Did you know that the @フィラデルフィア美術館 is home to one of the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by #Duchamp? See some of his work in “The Duchamp Family” before that exhibition closes on August 11, and in “The Art of Collage and Assemblage” open now through September 2 in the Perelman Building.
