So grateful to have discovered Salcombe through Joe and his family ⛵️ It’s one of the most beautiful places in the UK (and possibly the world!). A few things I’ve learnt from the Woodward’s - always stop by @salcombecoffee to grab some sandwiches to take on board; have a chilled bottle of champagne ready to pop on the beach; be prepared to do a coffee run at any moment (even if that means walking through water at chest height - the coffees are important); and if you’re going to crash, crash slowly. ☀️⚓️

jaynejellybelly I love your Salcombe posts! ⛵️ I used to visit as a child, and years later me and my hubby spent our holidays there. We still visit with our 3 (now adult) children - and can’t wait to be back in September. I agree, it’s hard to beat - the whole South Hams area is absolutely beautiful.
